About 35 years ago I read an article in The Boston Globe on collecting postcards. I started collecting for myself. First it was TUCK, of course, and then cards I liked the looks of including Signed Artist Comics. I was spending money I did not have. Jane, my wife, said that I could not buy any more until I sold some of the cards I really didn't need. I sold some of the cards I should not have purchased in the first place. I joined the Cape Cod Postcard Collectors Club and participated in their postcard show. * WOW* More money to buy cards that I needed for my collection. We have done as many as 28 postcard shows and a few antique shows a year in New England, Pennsylvania and Florida. We retired in 2000 and are selling postcards and Victorian Trade Cards full time. Yes! Some retirement. We can not find time enough to do all we want to do. Auctions, postcard shows and eBay take up most of our hours. We love it.
