Station 5 is located in the center of the Old Greenwich business district of Greenwich, on Sound Beach Avenue. It houses one volunteer company and an around the clock assigment of career force personnel. The volunteer company stationed in station 5 is the Sound Beach Volunteer Fire Department. This station primarily serves the Long Island Sound shoreline from Cos Cob Harbor to the Stamford city line (including the local area of Long Island Sound, the Islands therein, and Todd's Point), the Old Greenwich business district, and the residential areas known as Old Greenwich, North Mianus, Riverside, and Hillcrest Park.
